Chinedum Igwe, MBA, FIAAAS-PDI (Executive Director)

Chinedum IGWE is Nigerian born and citizen of the United States of America. He started his early education in Nigeria at the Government College Umuahia and continued to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and an MBA from Beulah Heights University, Atlanta, U.S.A. Chinedum is a research writer and author with interest in Psychology and experience in Behavioral Health, becoming indispensable in the organizations where he worked while not forgetting the plight of immigrants in their quest for knowledge and stability. His knowledge of the integration process awaiting immigrants in the United States implored him to author the book: Immigration to Citizenship of the United States of America ~ your resource guide. This book educates, inspire and empower culturally diverse people with the expectations, responsibilities and resources they need to be better informed and integrate successfully in the United States. His enthusiasm and optimism for the overall benefit for authors inspired him to pioneer the establishment of International Association of African Authors and Scholars. As the Executive Director, Chinedum’s vision is to use the forum of IAAAS to promote authors achievement while developing our individual readers, and also to identify our professionals and experts in different areas who will advise leaders and enable them to achieve an excellent agenda for nation building. Chinedum lives in the U.S.A. and is blessed with his wife and three children.

Amechi Charles Uti

Amechi Charles Uti, MBA, Ph.D. (General Secretary)

Dr. Charles Amechi Uti is a young and dynamic results-oriented professional with knowledge of, and experience with, proven effective communication strategies and skills that promote student success at high schools, colleges, and university levels. He has over 10 years of experience working in various departments and positions in corporate communications, management and development in the private sector in Nigeria. Dr. Uti is a Ph.D. graduate in Management from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He also holds a first-class honor bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and Media Technology and a master’s degree in Communication Arts from Lead City University, Ibadan, Nigeria. Dr. Uti is a prolific writer and an avid reader, a researcher, reviewer, editor, broadcaster, teacher and a management communication consultant. He has several published and cited articles in international journal online. He has presented papers at several local and international conferences around the world. He is the General Secretary of the International Association of African Authors and Scholars. He is happily married with children and lives and work in New York.

Franklin Obiagwu

Franklin Obiagwu, MITD (Assistant General Secretary & Regional Coordinator – Nigeria)

Franklin C. Obiagwu, is a Pastor, Author, Motivational Speaker, and Life Coach. As a keynote speaker, he addresses more than 10,000 people in more than 50 talks across the nation each year. For over 20 years, he’s committed to helping individuals, companies, groups and ministries set and achieve goals as well as build their maps for success, balance, and significance. He’s a graduate of Abia State University, Uturu, Nigeria; a certified business development professional from the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), UK; a member of the Institute of Training and Development (MITD) Nigeria; the African Coordinator of New Covenant Family of Ministries, Williamson, Ga.,USA, and the Regional Coordinator, International Association of African Authors and Scholars (IAAAS), USA. He’s the author of the following books: “Power To Succeed – a revolutionary handbook for the higher life” (2015); “Success or Death – Leave No Room For Any Life In Between” (2019); “Love Without Borders” (2010) and “For the Peace of Nations – A new pathway to World Peace” 23`1(Unpublished). He’s undoubtedly one of the most respected speakers coming out of Africa today. His leadership insights, results-driven coaching, and life transformation messages have made him a household name among top church and business leaders in Nigeria and overseas. He is worth listening to.

Mercy Alu

Mercy Alu, MBA, Ph.D. (Coordinator of Research, Grants & Fundraising)

Dr. Mercy Alu is a writer, scholar, and recording artist who have worked for over ten years as as a Human Resources Management Consultant within the Corporate Sector in the United States, while teaching as an adjunct faculty for Argosy University, IL and Ashford University, CA. She is a Pan-Africanist and pioneered inclusive interactions and international student academic exchange opportunities, as the president of the Pan African Students Association, Indiana, Pennsylvania. She has supported, through direct fundraising, grant writing, and various programs for non-profit organizations geared towards positive social change and community development, such as; Illinois Cares, Light on the Hill for Africa U.S.A, and the New Era Online business publication based in Abuja, Nigeria. Dr. Alu has served as a Human Services Intern with the State of Illinois, and a volunteer for the Federal VISTA Americorps Program with the U.S.A Corporation for National and Community Service. She has published books and released both hard copy and digitally distributed music. Dr. Alu is a Ph.D. graduate in Health Care Management, within the College of Business, from Northcentral University, Arizona, U.S.A. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Keller Institute of Management of Devry University. Dr. Alu graduated as an honor’s board of Governor’s Scholar and Provost Scholar nominated for the John B. Russworm honorary graduating student award.

Obi

Obi Ukwuoma, M.Sc. (Treasurer)

Obi Ukwuoma was born at Eziachi, Orlu Province in the Eastern Region of Nigeria, known as Biafraland. He attended Eziachi Primary School and Bishop Shanahan Secondary School, Orlu. Thereafter, he attended and completed Teachers College Certification in 1978. He taught in schools for about two years before proceeding to the United States for graduate studies in the summer of 1980.

He received his BA in Urban and Regional Planning in December 1983 from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette, LA. Additionally, he received his Master of Science in Public Administration from Georgia State University in 1988. He belongs to some Diaspora Igbo Community Groups in the USA. He is the current President of Eziachi Town Union, USA.

His hobbies include soccer, traveling, tennis, and reading. Obi Ukwuoma was the captain of the Nigeria Soccer Team at the University of Louisiana from 1980 to 1983. He is currently the treasurer of the International Association of African Authors and Scholars-Professional Development Institute (IAAAS-PDI). Obi is married with five children and currently resides in Atlanta.
